The smoke you saw coming from the Palms Thursday morning was just a car fire.

Fortunately, no one was hurt.

It started just after 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the resort at 4321 Flamingo Road, according to the Clark County Fire Department.

The fire sent up plenty of smoke, but it was out by 10:10 a.m.
