The Clark County coroner‘s office has identified an 86-year-old woman who died in a northwest valley crash on July 3.
Elisabeth Burkey of Las Vegas died of multiple injuries from the crash near the intersection of Lake Mead Boulevard and Hillpointe Road.
The 2012 Toyota Camry driven by Burkey collided with a 2004 Toyota 4Runner when the 4Runner crossed the center lane of Lake Mead about 3:30 p.m., Las Vegas police said.
Burkey and the driver of the 4Runner, a 55-year-old woman, were taken to University Medical Center. Burkey died after surgery. The other woman was listed in critical condition, police said.
