A fire burned through a home in the central Las Vegas Valley on Thursday afternoon, the Clark County Fire Department said.

Firefighters responded at 4:08 p.m. to a fire at a condominium at 3146 Cameron St., near the intersection with West Sirius Avenue, Assistant Fire Chief Larry Haydu said. Firefighters extinguished the fire by 4:15 p.m., Haydu said. The fire started in the kitchen, and firefighters kept the fire from spreading, he said.
