LETTER: Supreme Court decision still allows some special preferences

The Supreme Court did not end affirmative action. Giving preference to students from low-rated schools, economically depressed neighborhoods and families with only one parent are still legal and would include students of all races, thus fulfilling part of MLK’s dream of not judging students “by the color of their skin.”
