Motorcyclist killed in North Las Vegas crash

A motorcyclist is dead after a Friday afternoon collision in North Las Vegas.

Police responded to the intersection of Craig Road and Revere Street about 3:15 p.m. where a man on a motorcycle, traveling east on Craig, crashed into a truck hauling a trailer also traveling in the same direction, according to North Las Vegas police spokeswoman Sgt. Chrissie Coon.

The Ford F-250 was changing lanes when the trailer it was towing clipped the motorcycle, causing its rider to lose control, Coon said.

The 31-year-old motorcyclist died at the scene.

His identity will be released by the Clark County coroner’s office after his family has been notified.

The 35-year-old driver of the F-250, whose name hasn’t been released, will likely face charges after the investigation is over, North Las Vegas police posted on their Facebook about 6:45 p.m.
