A motorcyclist is dead after a crash Wednesday afternoon involving a Dodge Caravan in North Las Vegas.
Officers were called just after 2:35 p.m. for the crash near the intersection of East Centennial Parkway and Losee Road, according to the North Las Vegas Police Department.
Police said the motorcyclist, identified by the Clark County coroner’s office as Killian Straber, 26, was traveling south on Losee Road when the Caravan, traveling north, started a left turn in front of the motorcyclist, which caused the motorcyclist to hit the passenger side of the Caravan.
Straber was ejected from the motorcycle and later pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Investigators do not believe speed or impairment were factors in the crash.
The driver of the Caravan is facing charges of vehicular manslaughter and failure to yield while making a left turn, police said.
