Woman dies in Henderson accident

A woman died Sunday after rear-ending a Republic Services truck in the south valley Sunday morning, Henderson police say.

The crash happened at about 12:30 a.m. at the intersection of Seven Hills Drive and St. Rose Parkway. The Republic Services truck was waiting at a red light, Henderson spokeswoman Kathleen Richards said, and a passenger car driven by a 29-year-old woman slammed into it.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity will be released by the Clark County coroner’s office.
