2 men shot, killed in downtown Las Vegas
Two men were shot and killed Monday night in downtown Las Vegas, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
Police received reports of a shooting in the 1800 block of Lewis Avenue just after 9:30 p.m. Monday, and officers found two men suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. One was pronounced dead at the scene, while the second victim was taken to a local hospital, where he later died, police said.
Authorities said that an altercation occurred between multiple people when the two men were shot.
No information on suspects in the shooting was provided by police.
The identities of the victims, as well as the cause and manner of death, will be released by the Clark County coroner’s office.
