North Las Vegas police: Second man wounded in Monday night shooting

A second man was wounded in a Monday night shooting in North Las Vegas, police said Tuesday.

The second man, 24, walked into North Vista Hospital with a gunshot wound to his hand, North Las Vegas police spokesman Aaron Patty said. The first man, 31, was taken to University Medical Center with what police described as wounds that were not life threatening.

Police were called to the shooting near Lake Mead and Martin Luther King boulevards just before 8 p.m. Monday.
