A 66-year-old woman is in serious condition Sunday afternoon after a two-car crash near North Las Vegas.
Las Vegas police said the woman, Josephine Crockett, was turning left from a stop sign on Stella Lake Street just after 1 p.m. when her 2005 Nissan Sentra was hit by a 2004 BMW 325 heading east on Lake Mead Boulevard.
The woman was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, and the BMW driver Jose Zazueta-Campos, 22, and passenger, Evelyn Buriel, 23, both of California, had minor injuries and stayed at the scene after the crash.
