Brandon Weiler has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio. A 2011 graduate of Arbor View High School, Weiler is the son of Tonya Weiler-Pinkerton and Matthew Pinkerton of Las Vegas.

Sharlene Jackson has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio. Jackson is the daughter of Audray Canada of North Las Vegas.

Justin Bennett has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio. Bennett is the son of Sherry Morse of Henderson.

Anthony Hampton has been decorated with the Purple Heart Medal as a member of the U.S. Armed Forces. The medal is awarded to individuals wounded in war or armed conflict while engaged with an enemy or opposing armed force in defense of the United States. Hampton is a combat engineer assigned to the 509th Engineer Company, 4th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., and has served in the military for three years. A 2006 graduate of Silverado High School, he is the son of Charmaine Jacobson of Las Vegas.

Chris Cunningham, a graduate of Mojave High School, earned honorable mention recognition on the 2012 All-Heart of America Athletic Conference football team for his play during the 2012 season at Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Mo. Cunningham, a senior who played tight end for the Wildcats, caught 31 passes for 245 yards.
