Warm weather ends with rain, cooler temps moving into Las Vegas Valley

The Las Vegas Valley will see overcast skies, showers and possibly thunderstorms over the next few days, the National Weather Service said.

Because of a weather system coming from the southwest, there is a 40 percent to 60 percent chance of rain on Friday. That high chance of rain is expected to last until at least Monday and then decrease throughout the week.

Temperatures will also drop over the weekend, with a predicted high of 72 degrees on Friday and Saturday and 68 degrees on Sunday.
