An unnecessary law

I can't see the merit in yet another spur-of-the-moment, feel-good driving law.

Should you text and drive? Hell no. Should you eat and drive? Hell no. Should you look at your navigation screen and drive? Hell no. Should you fiddle with the kids' DVD and drive? Hell no. Should you pound your steering wheel and shake your head to the beat of your favorite loud rock or rap song and drive? Hell no.

Thing is you're now supposed to pay full attention while driving. We don't need a new law for everything that takes away from that. Do we?

(BTW, I texted this while in the car. As a passenger, of course.)

(BTW-BTW -- luckily you can still read the newspaper and drive ... Right?)
