Las Vegas police arrest man in California slaying

The man police called a “dangerous” fugitive who was wanted in California in connection with a homicide was arrested Friday in Las Vegas, according to police.

Henry Hall, 30, was taken into custody about 12:45 p.m. Friday in the 5500 block of Hidden Rainbow, near Mojave High School in North Las Vegas. He was taken into custody by Metro career criminal detectives and members of the FBI.

Hall was wanted in California in connection with a homicide investigation, police said Thursday.

Las Vegas police asked for the public’s help in locating Hall after they mistakenly thought he had been barricaded in a residence near Nellis Air Force Base Thursday morning.

The barricade, which began Wednesday night, lasted nearly 13 hours in the 6300 block of East High Sierra Avenue, near Carey Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard.

Hall is being booked into the Clark County Detention Center on his outstanding warrant.
