Two people injured in stabbing at downtown Las Vegas apartment

Two people were injured during a Sunday afternoon dispute-turned-stabbing in a downtown apartment.

Just after 6 p.m. Sunday, the Metropolitan Police Department responded to reports of a stabbing at 2309 Sunrise Ave., near Eastern and Ogden avenues. Several people were inside an apartment when two people began fighting, Metro Lt. Christine Buist said.

Two people were stabbed and were taken to the hospital with non-lifethreatening injuries.

Buist said no one has been arrested in connection with the stabbing, but police don’t believe any suspects are at large.
