Free food market to be held by county on Saturday

County Commissioner Lawrence Weekly will host a free food market with Lutheran Social Services and Three Square at 9 a.m. Saturday at the County Government Center.

Skateboaders, others enjoy Craig Ranch Regional Park on opening day

North Las Vegas’ Craig Ranch Regional Park debuted Friday with a whoosh and a bang. Those are the sounds skateboards made at the skatepark, one of the largest in the U.S. Others visited then new playgrounds at the $130 million park.
