UNLV’s football program posted a four-year Academic Progress Rate average of 937. The minimum to be eligible for postseason play is 930. All 17 UNLV sports achieved above the four-year required APR.

Former UNLV football coach Bobby Hauck agreed to work one day into December before stepping aside, records show. But Hauck appears to want to be paid for the entire month and told a football website “it looks like it’s going to the lawyers.”

Four Rebels, including Davis and Boyko, sign NFL free-agent deals

UNLV wide receiver Devante Davis and offensive lineman Brett Boyko weren’t selected in the NFL Draft, then signed with the Philadelphia Eagles on Saturday. Also, cornerback Kenneth Penny signed with the Cleveland Browns and defensive end Josh Shirley with the Oakland Raiders.
