House committee schedules North Las Vegas hearing on federal land in Clark County

The House Committee on Natural Resources announced plans Wednesday to hold a special hearing in North Las Vegas later this month to discuss changes in the management of federal land that could produce more affordable housing and free up more property to charitable organizations.

Foster children bond with siblings at Henderson water park

St Jude’s Ranch for Children partnered Wednesday with Cowabunga Bay Water Park in Henderson to reunite about 100 siblings for a day of summer fun. The siblings have been separated through their placement in foster homes.
