Red velvet pancakes drizzled with cream cheese and pulled turkey benedicts covered in citrus hollandaise sauce are a few of the offerings on CRAFTkitchen’s health-focused menu. Former Red Rock Resort executive pastry chef Jaret Blinn and his wife, Tami, opened the breakfast and lunch spot in October 2015.
Hot dog destination The Steamie Weenie, where each bun is a “canvas,” and the toppings, art, celebrated its two-year anniversary this July. Nestled in the Pebble Marketplace on North Green Valley Parkway, the restauarant bustled with customers during a recent lunch visit. Owner Bob Remington is used to the noon rush this time of year; July is National Hot Dog Month.
Plates of beef gyro, falafel pita and dolmades are whisked out of the kitchen and onto customers’ tables with a flourish reminiscent of the traditional Greek horos dance, as regulars wait in line at The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill.
