Best Buy expanding same-day delivery to Las Vegas, other cities

Best Buy announced on Wednesday that it’s expanding its test of same-day delivery service to 13 major metro markets across the U.S. including Las Vegas.

The consumer electronics corporation launched the pilot in San Francisco last fall and expanded to New York earlier this year before adding Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, Philadelphia, Seattle and Washington, D.C. on Wednesday.

The company partnered with Deliv, a California-based same-day delivery retail service. Drivers pick up orders and deliver them directly to Best Buy customers.

Customers in participating markets have the opportunity to have more than thousands of products delivered to their doorsteps on the same day they are ordered. Anyone with a ZIP code in an eligible market can select same-day delivery under Expedited Shipping when choosing a shipping option on BestBuy.com.

Orders must be placed on BestBuy.com by 3 p.m. local time and will be delivered by 9 p.m. the same day. Delivery does not provide the service on Sundays or for items weighing more than 50 pounds.

Best Buy also offers free store pickup.
