Burlington plans 5th location in Las Vegas Valley

Burlington, formerly known as Burlington Coat Factory, will open its fifth location in the Las Vegas Valley.

An opening date is not yet known, but the retail chain will open at 10000 W. Sahara Ave., near the intersection of Hualapai Way. It will be about 5 miles west of another Burlington location.

Burlington received a construction permit May 15 for $300,000, according to Las Vegas city records.

Each store usually employs at least 50 people, spokeswoman Alex Rothenberg said. The retailer is based in Florence, New Jersey.
