Caesars raises $2M to aid shooting victims

Caesars Entertainment Corp. has raised $2 million in donations to help those affected by the Oct. 1 shooting “and to help our community heal,” the company said Monday in a statement.

The funds were raised by company employees, a family of chefs and entertainers.

“This senseless tragedy has forever impacted the lives of so many, and we are committed to offering resources to help those affected and to support the community organizations who will need our ongoing assistance,” said Mark Frissora, chief executive officer and president of Caesars Entertainment Corp.
