Chase Bank plans to add six branches in Nevada this year

Chase Bank said it will add six branches in Nevada this year, bringing its total to 50 locations in the state.

The new branches will create 75 jobs, but spokesman Gary Kishner said that Chase is always hiring new employees.

It plans to open a branch at 7265 S. Eastern Ave. in early June. Chase opened a branch at 7000 N. Durango Drive in February. Four more branches are scheduled to open in the second half of this year.

Chase entered Nevada in 2008 when it acquired failed Washington Mutual from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp.
