THIS WEEK'S BUSINESS PRESS POLL QUESTION

Log onto the Las Vegas Business Press Web site and let us hear your opinion on this week's question.

Gov. Jim Gibbons is proposing merging the Nevada Tourism Commission and the Nevada Commission on Economic Development as a cost-cutting move during the ongoing economic crisis. Tourism commission officials oppose the idea, however, arguing that the two agencies have very different missions and combining them would throw away years of progress made by the two boards.

Do you you think combining the two state commissions is a good idea?
