Northern Nevada job fair planned for Tesla plant
Panasonic Energy of North America and Nevada JobConnect are hosting a job fair for full-time jobs at the Tesla gigafactory east of Reno.
The job fair will be from 2-8 p.m. Aug. 10 at the Reno Convention Center. Applicants will be able to apply for jobs at the plant in Storey County that will manufacturing lithium ion battery cells for Tesla vehicles.
The gigfactory is a collaborative effort between Tesla and Panasonic.
Nevada JobConnect offers employment-related services at no cost to anyone looking for employment, or businesses looking for employees. Anyone interested in applying for positions can email their job preference and resume at RenoResumes@nvdetr.org.
