Law firm with LV office acquires Minden firm
Lewis and Roca, a Phoenix-based law firm with offices in Las Vegas, said it acquired Sierra Patent Group Ltd., a Minden-based law firm, for an undisclosed price. The combined entity is now doing business under the Lewis and Roca LLP name.
In a statement, Lewis and Roca said the deal allows the firm to expand its intellectual property, and patent, copyright and trademark capabilities.

The American Bankruptcy Institute, a nonprofit agency dedicated to research and education on financial insolvency, named Nancy Rapoport to its board of directors. She is a professor at the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
