Music festival producer Insomniac to partner with Snapchat

Music festival producer Insomniac will partner with photo messaging application Snapchat to allow attendees to share their experiences at the Electric Daisy Carnival from June 20-22 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

The partnership will ensure that attendees can share photos as well as receive the latest news and updates at the sold-out festival through a reliable Internet connection.

Fans must download the Snapchat and Insomniac apps to their Android or iPhone devices prior to the event. Both apps are available for free download on Android and iOS platforms through Google Play and the Apple App Store. The new Insomniac mobile app will re-launch on Tuesday with special content geared toward EDC Las Vegas and the Electronic Dance Music lifestyle. The updated application will provide fans with an event schedule and venue maps.

This year, EDC is accommodating about 50,000 more fans and occupying a larger portion of the Las Vegas Motor Speedway than it did in 2013.
