BANKING
Bank of George promoted T. Ryan Sullivan to president and chief executive officer. Sullivan joined Bank of George for its launch in 2007, and was part of the preopening organizational team. Sullivan was the bank’s original chief financial officer and has also served as a bank director since January 2011. He now chairman of the bank’s ALCO committee.
Nevada State Bank named Brian Solomon vice president/SBA business development officer, where he is responsible for the growth of SBA lending that meets U.S. Small Business Administration guidelines.
Financial adviser John Leveritt has joined the Rosenberg Group in the Merrill Lynch Las Vegas office.
Meadows Bank recently named Mary Gabriel accounts representative; Sonnethia Johnson senior teller to the Henderson branch; Patricia Mudano loan support specialist to the loan operations department; Sean McCarty vice president/underwriter for the Phoenix area; Joe Weiner vice president/business development officer for the San Antonio area; Irene Driskell loan ops utility clerk, Spanish Ridge; and Samantha Lamerato accounting specialist, Spanish Ridge.
Ernst & Young LLP promoted Chris Raimondo to principal from senior manager. Raimondo is a member of Ernst & Young LLP’s advisory practice/financial services office where he serves clients in the insurance sector, focusing on large-scale business and systems transformational programs for property and casualty insurance carriers.
HEALTH CARE
Matthew Carlson, D.O. has joined HealthCare Partners Medical Group. Carlson, a board-certified family physician, began seeing patients at the HealthCare Partners Centennial Hills Clinic at 6850 N. Durango Drive, Suite 208.
NONPROFIT
Dawn Marie Pavuk joined Cure 4 The Kids Foundation as director of development. Pavuk will oversee marketing and fundraising projects for the nonprofit organization which provides specialized medical treatment to children with and without medical insurance and regardless of ability to pay for treatment.
Opportunity Village named Mauro Lara associate executive director and chief operating officer. Lara joins Opportunity Village to help lead the organization’s client and business services. Previously, Lara was with PRIDE Industries in Roseville, Calif., where he served as the vice president of national accounts and U.S. operations.
REAL ESTATE
Avison Young named Aaron Goldberg associate of the capital markets group in the Las Vegas market. Goldberg specializes in investment property sales, land sales and medical office leasing and sales.
FirstService Residential named Victoria Lane regional manager. She will also continue to manage several local homeowner associations. Lane has more than 19 years of community association management experience.
RETAIL
Sambalatte Torrefazione named Dan Molitor manager of the Las Vegas Boca Park location. Molitor’s duties will include day-to-day employee management and operations of the coffee lounge and restaurant.
TOURISM
Hosts Global Alliance named Marty MacKay president. Before her joining HGA, MacKay served as the president of eight owned offices for Global Events Partners.
HENDERSON CHAMBER NAMES EXECUTIVE BOARD
The Henderson Chamber of Commerce has named the members of its 2013-14 executive board. The board took office July 1, and will be sworn in Aug. 29 at the annual State of the Chamber Address.
