Organizers cancel gun show planned for Cashman Center

A second gun show has canceled following the Strip shooting.

Crossroads of the West was scheduled for Oct. 21 and 22 at Cashman Center, but has been postponed out of respect for victims of the shooting on Oct. 1, according to organizers’ Wednesday statement.

Crossroads of the West promotes more than 60 gun shows a year in California, Arizona, Utah and Nevada. The company was founded in 1975.

The organizers put on five shows a year in Las Vegas, with attendance counts between 4,000 and 7,000 people an event. The next one is scheduled for Dec. 16 and 17.

Earlier this month, organizers of the Eastside Cannery Casino Gun Show canceled their event.
