WestJet launches new flights from Las Vegas to Ottawa
Canadian discount airline WestJet has launched twice-weekly flights from Las Vegas to Ottawa, Canada's capital.
This raises to 11 the carrier's number of nonstop destinations to Las Vegas and will add to the 71 flights per week it now operates. WestJet reduces its schedule during the warm months.
Having carried 649,000 passengers to and from Las Vegas during the 10 months through October, WestJet has grown into the 10th-largest carrier at McCarran International Airport and the largest foreign-based one by far.
