A hit-and-run driver was being sought Tuesday night after a vehicle struck a child in the east valley, Las Vegas police said.
The 6-year-old child suffered minor injuries when he was "knocked down," and was taken to a local hospital for evaluation, Metro Lt. David Gordon said.
Officers and medical crews were called about 8:30 p.m. to 4581 E. Charleston Blvd., near the intersection of Marion Drive, police said.
The child was in a crosswalk when a vehicle, described as a grey Nissan, struck the child, Gordon said.
