Las Vegas stabbing victim ID’d by coroner’s office

The Clark County coroner’s office identified the body of a man who was found in a flood control channel near Owens Avenue and B Street on Tuesday.
Michael David Trudeau, 44, died of stab wounds to the neck and back, the coroner’s office reported Saturday.
The body was found about 2:55 p.m., according to Las Vegas police, and forensic evidence suggested it had been there for 15 to 20 days.
Trudeau’s death was ruled a homicide.
