Man critically injured in east valley stabbing
Metro’s gang unit is investigating a stabbing that occurred in the east valley Tuesday night.
First responders were dispatched to the 1500 block of Lucky Street, near Colorado Avenue, shortly after 9:30 p.m.
A 23-year-old man who had been stabbed multiple times in his upper torso and collapsed in the front yard of a home. He was sent to University Medical Center with critical injuries, Las Vegas police supervisor Lt. Bruce Miyama said.
Gang detectives located a crime scene connected with the stabbing about a block away, near the intersection of Colorado and Arden Street, Miyama said.
