Police ask for public’s help in solving slaying, robbery of woman
Las Vegas police are asking the public’s help in solving the Tuesday killing and robbery of an elderly woman .
Police said Jean Main, 75, was shot to death in her home in the 8000 block of Green Pasture Avenue, near Cimarron and Lone Mountain roads in the northwest valley.
Her purse was taken from the scene. Police provided a replica picture of the stolen purse.
Police said a dark blue sedan was seen in the area the morning of the crime.
No suspects have been named.
