About 3:40 p.m. Wednesday, two men armed with handguns entered a US Bank on South Hualapai Way, near Desert Inn Road, Metro wrote in a release Tuesday.

"The suspects entered the bank with handguns drawn. They ordered employees to the vault where they removed money and then fled," the release said.

Police described one robber as a man about 30 years old, 6 feet tall and 180 pounds with a goatee. During the robbery he wore a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, dark sunglasses and a red baseball cap with an "LA" logo on the front.

The second robber was described as a man also about 30 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall and 200 pounds with a goatee. He wore a dark baseball cap, dark sunglasses, a red long-sleeved, collared button-up shirt and blue jeans at the time of the bank robbery, police wrote in the release.
