Woman found dead inside parked SUV
Police are investigating why a woman turned up dead in the back seat of an SUV ON Wednesday afternoon.
Officers responded to a call shortly after 2 p.m. at 8060 Blue Diamond Road, which is a strip mall between Buffalo and Cimarron roads.
A witness said there was a gold Nissan Pathfinder there with a woman inside. The vehicle hadn’t moved in three days.
Firefighters determined the woman in the back seat was dead, and the coroner responded to the scene.
A Las Vegas police supervisor said it was too early to say if the woman was a victim of some crime or of something else. He said the homicide team would be called in to investigate.
