The Santa Fe art collective Meow Wolf is transforming downtown Las Vegas’ Art Motel.
More than 40 artists came to downtown to take over the first floor of the classic motorlodge.
With the help of a sponsorship by Zappos, Meow Wolf has created 21 unique and interactive rooms inside the art installation. Doors open to slime rooms, cloud spaces, total sound environments and a room made of human-sized ramen.
At the center of the Art Motel’s courtyard is a neighborhood of fantastical huts. Overhead, the courtyard is adorned with dangling lights and dream catchers. See the Art Motel on 7th Street between Stewart and Ogden avenues.
