Brandon Flowers’ Bunkhouse concert canceled ‘due to illness’

The Killers’ frontman Brandon Flowers has canceled a downtown concert hours before it was slated to start at the Bunkhouse Saloon.

Those who bought tickets were emailed the notice around 3 p.m. Monday. The email was full of grammatical errors, leading many ticket holders to speculate if the email was fake.

“Brandon Flowers has been forced to cancel their show this evening at Las Vegas’s Bunkhouse Saloon due to illness. The show will be rescheduled shortly; all tickets from the cancelled show will be honored for the forthcoming amended date.

Brandon would like to apologize to his fans for the cancellation.”

A team member at The Bunkhouse Saloon confirmed that the show is postponed.

Killers fans, known as “Victims,” expressed disappointment on Twitter, many of them driving from other states for the concert.

No other details were available.

Flowers was expected to offer a preview of his upcoming album, “The Desired Effect,” due May 18. A single, “Can’t Deny My Love,” will be available March 23.
