Celebrity chef Kerry Simon celebrates 60th birthday in Palms restaurant

“Rock n’ Roll chef” Kerry Simon will celebrate his 60th birthday at a party Wednesday night at his Simon at the Palms restaurant.
Invites went out this week for “one final bash” inside the delicious and gorgeous poolside eatery before the hotel closes it May 22 and reopens it the next day under a new banner.
Simon has been wheelchair-bound while fighting the effects of multiple system atrophy.
Simon, one of the most beloved figures on the Strip, will continue to have one restaurant downtown, Carson Kitchen.
