5 cocktails to try this summer in Las Vegas

Feel a need to chill out now that triple-digit summer heat is upon us? Try one of these five cooling summer cocktails.

Rye Rumble, Alize at the Palms and Andre’s Restaurant at the Monte Carlo: The sister restaurants have introduced three new summer cocktails and are bringing back old favorites, including the Rye Rumble, with rye whiskey, fresh raspberries, lemon juice and agave nectar, $14.

The Grapest Cocktail, DJT, Trump International Hotel: The hotel’s menu of summer refreshers includes this mixture of High West Double Rye, fresh lemon juice and a dash of rhubarb bitters, garnished with thyme and lemon and served with a teaspoon of grape jam to incorporate to taste, $15.

Big Ginger, Breeze Bar, Mojito Bar and Gilley’s Saloon, Treasure Island: Two Gingers Irish Whiskey is mixed with ginger ale, $6.

Ultimate Mojito, Cabo Wabo Cantina, Miracle Mile Shops: Made with Bacardi Maestro rum, fresh mint leaves and fresh lemon juice, it’s available in nine flavors including blackberry, pineapple, ginger and acai, $14.

Hawaiian Mai Tai, all casino bars at the El Cortez: If you want to feel like you’re in Hawaii for a fraction of the price, try this one during June, when it’s $5.
