HI SCORES BAR-ARCADE TO OPEN SECOND LOCATION

Hi Scores Bar-Arcade is set to open a second location at 4785 Blue Diamond Road this fall and is accepting applications for all positions. The other location is at 65 S. Stephanie St. in Henderson.

LA RUE MARCHE CAFE OPENS ON EAST SIDE

Chef Jesus Cibrian and pastry chef Leslie Cibrian recently celebrated the launch of La Rue Marche Cafe restaurant and market, 2710 E. Desert Inn Road.

The restaurant offers an array of flavors from around the world and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Menu items include French Quarter gumbo, baba ganoosh and Mediterranean pizza.

“I want the client to be able to come in and sample foods from all over the world,” said Leslie Cibrian. “Any need the client has, we will go above and beyond to meet it.”

La Rue Marche Cafe’s location was specially chosen with the idea of revitalizing the area.

“We’re trying to be grateful to the neighborhood with tasty food,” said Leslie Cibrian. “We want to offer great food at a great value.”

While the opening of the market portion is yet to be announced, the cafe is currently offering a full-service caterer who will design any menu around the concept of the customer.

TEXAS STATION TO MARK 20 YEARS WITH DINING SPECIALS

Several restaurants and bars at Texas Station, 2101 Texas Star Lane, plan to offer 20th anniversary-inspired food and beverage specials to honor the property’s milestone. Each dining special pays tribute to three of the property’s original restaurants: Stockyard Steakhouse, Galveston Bay Seafood Company and the Yellow Rose Cafe, with each special menu item available for $20.

Austins Steakhouse

Stockyard Steakhouse Special: appetizer plate for two featuring bacon-wrapped shrimp, coconut shrimp, crab cakes and calamari.

Texas Star Oyster Bar

MERCADITO TO HOST COOKING DEMO JULY 13

NEXT CULINARY CLASSROOM SET FOR JULY 23 AT BELLAGIO

Bellagio executive chef Edmund Wong plans to host the Executive Chef’s Culinary Classroom, a series of interactive, two-hour cooking classes through Nov. 10. Wong and his culinary team will share ideas and techniques as they guide guests through the steps to creating a three-course meal. Classes will be held in the resort’s demonstration kitchen, Tuscany Kitchen.

The schedule is: Learning to Roll … Sushi and Rolls, July 23; Back to School, Aug. 27; Cupcakes & Cocktails, Sept. 29; Octoberfest, Oct. 13; and Harvesting Thanksgiving 2.0, Nov. 10.

FERRARO’S DEBUTS DINNER AND PRIVATE LIMO OFFER

Ferraro’s Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar, 4480 Paradise Road, is offering a four-course dining experience for up to six guests with private transportation via private limousine by Personal Sedan Service.

Personal Sedan Service will send a Lincoln Town Car Sedan to pick up each couple and deliver them to the restaurant’s front doors. Once dinner is complete, their waiter will make sure their ride is ready to return guests home within the hour.

The price for two guests, including dinner and transportation, is $300. The price for each additional couple is $200. For guests wishing to add wine pairings, the price will be $100 per couple.
