The Nevada Barbecue Association’s second annual Las Vegas Championship RibFest will be Saturday at the Bass Pro Shops, 8200 Dean Martin Drive. The event will open to the public at 11 a.m., and sample ribs (while supplies last) and barbecued items such as rib plates and brisket dinners will be available. The day also will include a Kids Zone, cooking demonstrations and entertainment. Admission and parking are free; sales from sample packages will benefit the Boys &Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada. …
