‘House of Cards’ season 3 on Netflix Feb. 27

LOS ANGELES — “House of Cards” season three will debut on Netflix on Feb. 27, the streaming service announced Monday.

The news broke with Frank Underwood’s typical panache — through a video posted to Twitter and Facebook featuring stars Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright ascending the steps of Air Force One.

Netflix will debut its latest original drama series, “Marco Polo,” on Dec. 12, and recently acquired NBC comedy “Unbreakable Kimmie Schmidt” and a fourth season of “Longmire” after the procedural was cancelled by A&E. Another Netflix original series — “Bloodline,” starring Kyle Chandler, Ben Mendelsohn and Linda Cardellini — is set to premiere in March.
