See the animated ‘Sing’ early, for free on Saturday

You’ll have spent the past two days standing in lines for good deals, so what’s one more?

In the spirit of Black Friday, Illumination Entertainment, the makers of “Despicable Me” and “The Secret Life of Pets,” is sponsoring free screenings of its upcoming animated musical “Sing” at 10 a.m. Saturday at AMC Town Square and AMC Rainbow.

Tickets are available for the first 200 people in line and will be distributed beginning at 9 a.m.

Set in a world inhabited solely by animals, “Sing” stars a koala (voiced by Matthew McConaughey), whose theater has fallen on hard times. In order to save it, he stages an “American Idol”-type singing competition.

Additional voices include Reese Witherspoon, Seth MacFarlane, Scarlett Johansson and John C. Reilly.

“Sing” opens in theaters on Dec. 21.
