5 inexpensive live music shows coming up in Las Vegas

The Sloths, a Los Angeles-based band that got its start back in the ’60s, play Friday at the Bunkhouse Saloon with the Astaires, the Laissez Fairs and the Van Der Rohe. Tickets are $5, and the gig starts at 9 p.m.

Mock and roll

On May 26, Dive Bar is hosting Punk Mock Bowling, a free bill with absolutely no affiliation with the upcoming like-named festival. It will feature No Effects, a NOFX tribute set put together by War Called Home; Vegascendents, made up of members of Guilty by Association, Civilians and Vegas Threat; and Mocksparrer, the Civilians’ Cock Sparrer tribute.

Joe time

Onetime Rainbow and Deep Purple vocalist Joe Lynn Turner is set to perform May 26 at Count’s Vamp’d with TailGun. Tickets are $18 ($22 day of show), and it starts at 9 p.m.

Ratt pack

Stephen Pearcy may perform under his own name these days, but however he’s billed, he will always be known as the frontman of Ratt. Friday, he stops by Count’s Vamp’d for a show with Chaotic Resemblance. Tickets are $18 ($22 day of show), and the sets start at 9 p.m.

Saul good

Saul Hernandez, the singer best known from his work with Califanes and Jaguares, is set to perform May 26 at the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay. Tickets for the show are $25 ($28 day of show), and the concert starts at 7 p.m.
