Candidates to fill iHeartRadio’s (almost) blank lineup

The iHeartRadio music festival is a little over two months away, and but one performer has been announced thus far, English singer-songwriter and Taylor Swivt BFF Ed Sheeran.

Who else will be taking the stage annual even returns to the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Sept. 19 and 20?

Let’s speculate, shall we?

Here are some candidates that we could see playing the star-studded event this year.

Who would you like to see there?

Madonna. The Material mom has reportedly finished her new record. This would be a great platform for launching the album.

Justin Bieber. The Biebs is one of the few pop behemoths to have not have performed at the event up to this point, though he did get a loving shout-out from Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong two years back. Armstrong headed to rehab shortly thereafter.

Luke Bryan. There’s always a country act each night at iHeartRadio. Bryan is the biggest contemporary star to not have played it yet.

Garth Brooks. Speaking of big country acts, Garth Brooks, the biggest of them all, is hitting the road this later this year in support of a new album due out in the fall. Could this be a precursor?

Nicki Minaj. The wig lovin’ hip-hop spark plug turned in a fiery performance at the festival in 2012. She has a new record, “The Pink Print,’ due out soon, so a return to the fest may be in order.

Mariah Carey. The big-voiced singer could use a little help for her slow-selling latest album “Me. I am Mariah.” Could iHeartRadio provide a jump start?

Pharrell Williams. The singer-producer has been everywhere this year. We’re sure he’d be plenty “Happy” to be included in the iHeartRadio festivities.

Kiss. There’s always a veteran rock act at iHeartRadio, and with Kiss launching a Vegas residency later in the year, this would be a good place to hype it
