Daughtry, 3 Doors Down join for concert

Hey, some folks prefer a Fresca to a Budweiser, you know?

Catering to this crowd is the pairing of "American Idol" vet Chris Daughtry's band, which bears his surname, and radio-friendly rockers 3 Doors Down.

They basically serve as rock comfort food, catering to everyday tastes.

To put it another way, if rock 'n' roll was a big block of Neapolitan ice cream, these two would serve as the vanilla wedge.
