Steel yourself against any holiday weight gain by burning off a few thousand calories in the pit this weekend with the return of Thrashgiving. It's a neck-spraining metal bill heavier than turkey-day dinner plates, featuring bruising 'bangers Warbringer, Hatchet, Hexen, Vektor, Sacrificial Slaughter, Control the Chaos and Malus Rex. And with all proceeds going to the Rescue Mission and Boys Town, the show will benefit more than just local chiropractors.

Join the fun at 7 p.m. Saturday at The Cheyenne Saloon, 3103. N. Rancho Drive. Tickets are $8 in advance, $10 of show and $1 with a sealed can of food; call 645-4139.
