High times for rapper Wiz Khalifa

Wiz Khalifa is whoever you want him to be.

Rapper, smoking buddy, party starter, cartoon character come to life, author of really good pickup lines (“You got an ass so fat, let’s make a baby”) — whatever, the man is there for you.

As such, his records can feel a little scattershot, with Khalifa covering all the bases but seldom rounding home.

On his latest record, “Blacc Hollywood,” he warns of gold diggers (“No Love”), ponders the physics of getting a prominent rump into a pair of pants (“Ass Drop”), smokes a little weed (“So High”), smokes some more (“KK”) and duets with Nicki Minaj (“True Colors”).

Khalifa contends that “Hollywood” is a concept album.

Smoking weed.
