Jon Anderson cancels Boulder Station show — again

For the second time in two months, prog rocker Jon Anderson has canceled a Las Vegas show.

Anderson, the longtime lead singer Yes, was scheduled to perform Jan. 17 at Boulder Station, a date that was rescheduled from a postponed date in November. The same reason, laryngitis, was cited this time as last time.

A Station Casinos release says “the canceled show will be rescheduled at a future date” but instructs ticket-buyers to get a refund rather than holding onto tickets.

Health issues sidelined the eternally upbeat 70-year-old in 2008, when severe asthma and a blocked bile duct required multiple surgeries. The band replaced him with a younger singer for its heavy touring schedule.
